چکیده

Introduction/Objective. The essence of the treatment degenerative knee joint diseases is pain relief, restoring motion range and stability joints. Methods. In this study, 35 patients participated after having surgery joint. had a posterior-stabilized (PS) endoprosthesis in one joint, posterior cruciate ligament retaining (CR) other. Kinematic data was collected using 3D optical system for tracking fluorescent markers time. Based on these data, following parameters were determined: degree flexion, mediolateral (ML) translation, lateral gap, medial angle change between transtibial transfemoral axes. Results. results show more pronounced flexion with PS prosthesis compared to CR prosthesis. Also, negligible values ML gap both types prostheses. Using non-parameter Wilcoxon test, substantial difference axes confirmed, that is, angles Conclusion. This study shows there no great use or designs endoprostheses. Better behavior established implantation endoprosthesis. conclusion confirmed by position transversal tibia femur.

Gait after unilateral total knee arthroplasty: frontal plane analysis.

After unilateral total knee arthroplasty (TKA), osteoarthritis (OA) in the non-operated knee often progresses. The altered gait mechanics exhibited by patients after TKA increase the loading on the non-operated knee and predispose it to disease progression. Therefore, our objective was to examine the potentially detrimental changes in frontal plane kinetics and kinematics during walking in pati...

Gait Analysis of Conventional Total Knee Arthroplasty and Bicruciate Stabilized Total Knee Arthroplasty Using a Triaxial Accelerometer

One component of conventional total knee arthroplasty is removal of the anterior cruciate ligament, and the knee after total knee arthroplasty has been said to be a knee with anterior cruciate ligament dysfunction. Bicruciate stabilized total knee arthroplasty is believed to reproduce anterior cruciate ligament function in the implant and provide anterior stability. Conventional total knee arth...
